Police are responding to fatal collision involving car and truck in Chepstowe

Police are investigating after a fatal collision involving a car and a truck in Chepstowe earlier this week.

Emergency services responded to reports that a car and truck collided on Carngham-Streatham Road around 11am on Monday, 30 May.

Sadly, the driver and sole occupant of the car, a 33-year-old Ballarat man, died at the scene.

The male driver and sole occupant of the truck was not seriously injured and was taken to hospital as a precaution.

The exact circumstances surrounding the collision are yet to be determined and investigations are ongoing.
