Police Are Responding To Fatal Collision In Mount Eliza

A woman has died in hospital following a collision in Mount Eliza earlier this month.

It is understood a Honda Civic was travelling along Wooralla Drive when it lost control and crashed into a tree about 9.20am on Saturday, 12 April.

The driver and sole occupant of the Honda, an 88-year-old Somerville woman, was airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries where she later died.

The investigation into the cause of the collision remains ongoing.
