Police Are Responding To Fatal Crash At Wongyarra

A man has died in a single vehicle collision at Wongyarra in the State's Mid North overnight.

Emergency services were called to the scene of a crash on the Horrocks Highway, Wongyarra, about six kilometres north of Wirrabara, just after 11.30pm on Friday 3 October.

A car had left the road and collided with a tree.

Sadly, the driver, a 33-year-old Laura man, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, died at the scene.

Major Crash investigators are attending the scene to investigate the circumstances surrounding the fatal crash.

The local man's death is the 66th life lost on South Australian roads so far this year.
