Sadly, a 71 year-old woman has died following a crash at Westella Drive, Ulverstone, today.
Police and emergency services were called to the scene at about 6:30pm.
Initial inquiries indicate that a Silver Toyota Hilux was travelling West on Westella Drive, Ulverstone, when the vehicle has driven into the path of a Blue Suzuki Baleno Hatch travelling East, resulting in a head on collision between the vehicles.
Anyone with information or relevant dash cam footage, is asked to contact police on 131 444.
Our thoughts are with the woman's family and loved ones.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
