Police are responding to fatal crash at Cleve

A man has died after a crash at Cleve last week.

About 12.35pm on Friday 29 April, police and emergency services were called to Wake Road after reports that a Mitsubishi sedan had left the road and collided with a parked car.

The driver and sole occupant of the Mitsubishi, an 85-year-old Cleve man was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital with serious injuries.

Sadly, he passed away today (Tuesday 3 May).

The man's death is the 27th life lost on South Australian roads in 2022, compared with 40 at this time last year.
