Police are responding to fatal crash at Elizabeth Vale - police release vision of wanted car, South Australia

Police have released vision of a car wanted in connection with a fatal crash which occurred at Elizabeth Vale on Christmas Day last year.

Just after 7.30pm on Wednesday 25 December, police and paramedics responded to reports of a pedestrian being struck by a car on John Rice Avenue.

The pedestrian, a 23-year-old man from Davoren Park, was rushed to hospital with critical injuries but sadly died the following day.

A white Mitsubishi Lancer, was towed from the scene for examination and police spoke with the female driver as part of their investigation.

Major Crash Investigators have identified a grey or silver 2002-2005 Mazda 6 sedan that was in the vicinity when the collision occurred and believe the driver and any occupants of the vehicle may be able to assist the investigation.

CCTV vision has been obtained by police showing the Mazda travelling west along John Rice Avenue shortly before the crash and dashcam vision which shows the same car travelling west along John Rice Avenue shortly after the crash.
