Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal crash which occurred in Muckleford this afternoon.
Investigators believe a car was travelling along Maldon-Castlemaine Road about 3.15pm when the driver lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a tree.
The driver, believed to be a man in his 80s, died at the scene.
