Police are investigating a fatal crash at Rowland Flat today.
About 4.50pm on Saturday 2 April, police were called to the Barossa Valley Way after a SUV and motorcycle collided.
Sadly the rider, a 41-year-old man from the local region died at the scene. The man and woman from the SUV, both aged 45 from Victoria, were not injured in the crash.
The Barossa Valley Way is closed between Koch Road and Golflinks Road and motorists are asked to please avoid the area.
Major Crash Investigators are at the scene to examine the circumstances surrounding the crash. Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
The man's death is the 21st life lost on SA roads compared with 31 at the same time last year.
