Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are investigating an incident that occurred in Bassendean today, Friday 21 May 2021.
About 6.20am, a white Nissan Patrol 4WD station sedan and a red Yamaha motorcycle were travelling on Lord Street. At the intersection of Success Road they were both involved in a collision.
The 60-year-old male rider of the motorcycle was taken to Midland Hospital for treatment and later died.
Major Crash investigators are conducting an examination of the scene and are appealing for witnesses to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report the information online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au.
