Police are responding to fatal crash - Burswood

Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are investigating a fatal crash that occurred in Burswood yesterday Thursday, 9 September 2021.

About 7:00pm, a red Holden Trax Sedan was driving north east on Great Eastern Highway and a pedestrian travelling across Great Eastern Highway were involved in a collision.

The 90-year-old male pedestrian was taken to Royal Perth Hospital for treatment but died several hours later. The 77-year-old male driver of the Holden was not injured.

Major Crash investigators are conducting an examination of the scene and are appealing for any witnesses to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report the information online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au.
