A man and teenage boy have died in a multi-vehicle crash in Clontarf late last night.
Preliminary information suggests around 10pm a red Hyundai i20 was travelling north along Snook Street.
The small hatchback which lost control is believed to have clipped another vehicle, before travelling across a median strip and colliding with a black late model Holden Commodore near the intersection of Macdonnel Road.
The 21-year-old Bracken Ridge driver and 17-year-old passenger from Sandgate were both pronounced deceased at the scene.
Two people in the Commodore a man and a woman, aged in their 50s were taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Both roads were closed as Forensic Crash Unit investigators carried out their inquiries.
Anyone with dashcam or further information about the crash is urged to contact police.
Investigations are continuing.
