Police are responding to fatal crash, Minden

Police are investigating a fatal traffic crash which occurred in Minden this evening.

At about 6.30pm a motorcycle was travelling eastbound along the Warrego Highway three kilometres from Minden when it has attempted to overtake two trucks and has lost control.

As a result, the motorcyclist has collided with one of the trucks and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Police are advising truck drivers to postpone travel as long delays are expected.

The Warrego Highway remains closed while Forensic Crash Unit investigate.
