The Northern Territory Police Force is investigating a fatal crash that occurred in Palmerston earlier today.
Around 10:30am, the Joint Emergency Services Communication Centre (JESCC) received a report of a collision between a vehicle and a motorbike on University Avenue.
Emergency services responded and the 24-year-old male motorbike rider was declared deceased at the scene.
The female driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene and returned a negative roadside drug and alcohol test. She is assisting police with ongoing inquiries.
A crime scene has been declared, and both lanes on University Avenue are closed between Elrundie Avenue and Kriewaldt Circuit while investigations are ongoing.
