Police are responding to serious crash at West Hindmarsh, South Australia

Police and emergency services are at the scene of a serious crash at West Hindmarsh.

About 5.45pm on Sunday 31 May police were called to Bertie Street after a car crashed into a tree.

The driver of the car sustained serious injuries in the crash while the passenger sustained non-life threatening injuries. They were both taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital for treatment.

Major Crash Investigators are at the scene examining the circumstances surrounding the crash.
