Police Are Responding To Serious Crash - Byford 16 January

Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are investigating a serious crash which occurred in Byford today, Friday 16 January 2026.

About 9.15am, a truck and white Suzuki hatchback were involved in a collision at the intersection of Thomas Road and Briggs Road.

A 16-year-old female passenger from the Suzuki was taken to Royal Perth Hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries received.

The drivers and other passengers appear to have sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

Major Crash investigators are conducting an examination of the scene and are appealing for anyone with information in relation to the crash, to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report the information online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au .
