Police arrest four after Keilor Park home invasion

Brimbank Crime Investigation Unit detectives have arrested four males after a home invasion in Keilor Park this week.

Police have been told that six males allegedly attended a house on Quinella Close on Wednesday 24 May about 10.50pm.

The victim, a 33-year-old male, ran outside and allegedly observed the males running away before getting into a grey 2016 Mercedes B G63 wagon with registration CAX285, which police are still searching for.

It is alleged the group then drove straight towards the victim before getting out of their vehicle armed with machetes.

It is believed the victim managed to escape the property with his partner, baby and dog.

The group then allegedly fled in a grey Mercedes and the victims white Volkswagen Golf.

Police believe the parties were not known to each other.

The males were arrested by detectives yesterday at a property in Yarraville.

An 18-year-old Albion man and a 17-year-old Wyndham Vale male have both been remanded in custody.

A 22-year-old Yarraville man has been released pending further enquiries.

A 16-year-old male has been bailed to appear before a children's court at a later date.
