Police arrest man after serious assault in Port Lincoln, South Australia

A man has been arrested following a serious assault in February this year.

On Friday 15 February a 30-year-old Port Lincoln was shot in the leg at Forest Road Wanilla, 25km northwest of Port Lincoln.

Last month police appealed to the public for information regarding the incident.

Following a lengthy investigation Detectives from Port Lincoln have arrested and charged a 30-year-old West Lakes Shore man with aggravated cause serious harm and possessing an unlicensed.

The man has been bailed to appear in the Port Lincoln Magistrates Court on 20 December.
