Kalgoorlie Detectives have charged a man as a result of their investigation into a sexual assault that occurred in Boulder on Friday, 20 December 2019.
A woman in her 30s was with a group of friends in a vehicle off a gravel track off Burt Street (near the corner of Goldfields Highway) when she got out of the vehicle to go to the toilet.
Whilst she is out of the vehicle it is alleged the man struck her with a weapon and sexually assaulted her.
The 30-year-old man from Warburton has been charged with Aggravated Sexual Penetration without Consent. He is due to appear before the Kalgoorlie Magistrates Court today, 17 January 2020.
