A man has been arrested following a house fire at Torquay yesterday.
Neighbours of the Seaview Rise address notified emergency services of the fire at 9pm.
A vehicle parked in the driveway of the address also caught fire.
A 47-year-old Torquay man was arrested and conveyed to hospital for assessment.
He is expected to be interviewed at a later date.
No one was injured in the blaze although the house was extensively damage.
