Police arrest man over historic child sex offences, South Australia

A man has been arrested over historic child sex offences.

Detectives from the South Australia Police Public Protection Branch (Special Crime Investigation Section) as a result of an investigation into historic allegations of sexual abuse yesterday arrested a 72-year-old southern suburbs man.

He was charged with maintaining a sexual relationship with a child. He was bailed to appear in the Christies Beach Magistrates Court on 10 November.
