Police have arrested three people following a pursuit in Broadmeadows overnight.
An allegedly stolen black Hyundai SUV was observed on Barry Road in Broadmeadows about 12.45am.
The vehicle took off through Pascoe Vale, Essendon and Moonee Ponds.
It is alleged the female driver dumped the car on Tarella Drive in Keilor Downs before getting into a van and fleeing the scene.
With assistance from the Air Wing, police followed the van and stop sticks were deployed.
The vehicle came to a stop in a car park on Ardlie Street in Westmeadows.
The 29-year-old female driver and two passengers were arrested at the scene.
Investigators searched the vehicles and allegedly located a firearm and ammunition in the Hyundai and a quantity of drugs in the van.
A 29-year-old Lalor woman, a 30-year-old Prahran woman and a 30-year-old Meadow Heights man are assisting police with their enquiries.
