Police arrest three men over Oaklands Park break-in, South Australia

Police have arrested three men following a break-in and an assault at an Oaklands Park home this morning.

About 4am on Monday 10 February, three men allegedly armed with a steel bar and firearm forced their way into a Bombay Street home and assaulted the occupant.

The men stole personal items from the home before leaving in a white sedan.

The homeowner sustained a cut to his head and was taken to the Flinders Medical Centre for treatment.

Police responding to the incident spotted the suspect vehicle on Sturt Road at Mitchell Park. The vehicle was stopped and three men were arrested without incident.

A firearm was located inside the car.

Three men are currently being interviewed by police and will be charged later today.
