A man and woman have been arrested following an investigation into drug supply in the state’s Southern Tablelands.
In April 2020, Strike Force Hatchetfish was established by detectives from The Hume Police District to investigate the supply of prohibited drugs in the Goulburn area.
Following extensive investigations, strike force officers arrested a man and woman at a home in Goulburn earlier today (Wednesday 11 November 2020).
The police operation began shortly after 8am, with search warrants executed at a home on Kinghorne Street and a storage facility located in Robinson Street, Goulburn. Local police were assisted by officers from the Public Order Riot Squad and Dog Unit.
During the searches, officers located and seized a large quantity of power tools believed to be stolen, a Mitsubishi Triton utility, three motorbikes, ‘ice’ and cash.
These items will undergo forensic examination.
A 42-year-old man and 33-year-old woman were arrested and taken to Goulburn Police Station, where charges are expected to be laid.
Investigations under Strike Force Hatchetfish are continuing.
