Police Charge Man After Assault - Eastern Creek

A man will face court charged after an alleged assault in Sydney's west today.

About 1pm (Friday 3 April 2026), emergency services were called to a raceway at Ferrers Road, Eastern Creek, following reports of an assault.

At the scene, police attached to Blacktown Police Area Command were told two men had allegedly been involved in an argument which escalated into a physical altercation.

During the incident, it is alleged a 48-year-old man was punched several times in the face and stomach, causing an injury his lip and the loss of two teeth.

The man was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics.

A 36-year-old man was arrested at the scene a short time later and taken to Blacktown Police Station where he was charged with reckless grievous bodily harm.

He was given conditional bail and will appear before Blacktown Local Court on Thursday 9 April 2026.
