Homicide Squad detectives have today charged a man as part of their investigation into the death of a man in Broadmeadows last month.
A 23-year-old man, who is currently in custody on unrelated matters, was charged this afternoon with murder.
He will face Melbourne Magistrates' Court on 17 August.
The charges today follow an incident on 21 July where an injured man was located unresponsive outside a property on Graham Street.
The 40-year-old Broadmeadows man was treated at the scene but passed away.
Police will allege the parties were known to each other.
