Police charge man after police car ramming in Shepparton

Shepparton Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged a man after a police car was allegedly rammed in Shepparton yesterday.

The 32-year-old Shepparton man has been charged with ten offences, including aggravated intentional exposure of police officer to risk by driving, drive whilst disqualified, drug driving, and commit an indictable offence whilst on bail.

The charges follow an incident in Wilmot Road where a police car was allegedly rammed after patrolling officers noticed a sedan with allegedly false plates, just after midday.

The man was remanded in custody to appear at Shepparton Magistrates' Court today.
