Police charge man after teacher threatened at Auburn

A man has been charged with intimidation after allegedly threatening a teacher in Sydney's West.

About 1:00pm on Wednesday 27 July 2022, a man who was near the outdoor basketball courts at Auburn PCYC, allegedly intimidated a teacher.

The incident was reported to officers attached to Auburn Police Area Command, who attended and commenced an investigation into the incident.

Following inquiries – including a public appeal for information – a 26-year-old man was arrested on Wellington Road, Auburn, about 2.30pm yesterday (Thursday 4 August 2022).

He was taken to Auburn Police Station, where he was charged with stalk/intimidate intend fear physical etc harm (personal).

The man was granted conditional bail to appear at Burwood Local Court on Tuesday 9 August 2022.
