Police Charge Man Over Drug Supply - Bolton Point

A man has been charged over alleged drug supply offences in the state's north yesterday.

About 11:45am (Tuesday 10 December 2024), officers attached to Lake Macquarie Police District executed a search warrant at a property in Karina Place, Bolton Point.

They allegedly located and seized 257 cannabis plants, varying in size from 30cm to two metres in height. Police also seized 1.3kg of dry cannabis leaf within resealable bags.

The 29-year-old man was arrested and taken to Belmont Police Station where he was charged with:

  • Knowingly take part-cultivate large commercial quantity-cannabis.
  • Divert/use electricity for generating system without authority.
  • Supply cannabis >indictable & commercial quantity.

He was refused bail to appear before Belmont Local Court today, Wednesday 11 December 2024
