The AFP has charged a Noranda man, 34, after he allegedly exposed himself to a teenage girl at Perth Airport.
It is alleged that about 12pm yesterday (15 June, 2026) the man was walking out of Terminal 4 and onto the forecourt when he lowered his tracksuit pants and exposed himself.
Two teenage girls were walking past, and one reported the man looked directly at her while his trousers were lowered.
The man then walked away while the girl sought out an AFP member to report the alleged incident. Police located the man outside the terminal a short time later and he was arrested.
He was charged with an indecent act in a public place, contrary to section 203(1)(a) of the Criminal Code (WA).
The maximum penalty for this offence is two years' imprisonment.
The man was remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear in Perth Magistrates Court today (16 June, 2026.)
AFP Detective acting Superintendent Peter Brindal said the AFP would not tolerate any behaviour which makes members of the public feel unsafe.
"No one should be subjected to confronting or inappropriate conduct while simply going about their day," Det a/Supt Brindal said.
"We commend the teenage girl for coming forward promptly and reporting the incident to police, which allowed AFP officers to respond quickly.
"Anyone who witnesses or experiences suspicious or inappropriate behaviour is urged to report it to police immediately."
Inquiries into the alleged incident are ongoing.
Anyone who has information which may assist police is urged to call Airport Watch on 131 237 (131 AFP) or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
