A man has been charged with indecent assault on the state's mid north coast.
In November 2020, detectives attached to the Mid North Coast Police District commenced an investigation into allegations a 30-year-old woman was indecently assaulted in February 2017.
Police will allege in court the then 26-year-old woman was indecently assaulted whilst at a social function at a Port Macquarie motel in February 2017.
Following extensive inquiries, a 52-year-old man was issued with a future court attendance notice today (Thursday 11 March 2021) for the offence of assault with an act of indecency. He is due to appear at Port Macquarie Local Court on Wednesday 28 April 2021.
