Police charge man with mid-range PCA after crash- Matraville

A man will face court charged with mid-range drink-driving after crashing into three parked vehicles.

About 12.15am (Wednesday 1 July 2020), officers attached to Eastern Beaches Police Area Command were called to Beauchamp Road, Matraville with reports of a crash involving multiple vehicles.

The driver, a 31-year-old man, was subject to a roadside breath test, returning a positive result.

The man was arrested and taken to Maroubra Police Station where a breath analysis returned an alleged reading of 0.142.

The man was charged with drive with mid-range PCA.

He issued a court attendance notice to appear at Waverley Local Court on Wednesday 12 August 2020.

His licence was also suspended by police.
