Police charge two after Ravenhall fatal shooting

Homicide Squad detectives have charged two men following the fatal drive-by shooting of Ikenasio Tuivasa at a Ravenhall pool hall earlier this year.

A 26-year-old Hoppers Crossing man was arrested yesterday and subsequently charged with murder and intentionally cause serious injury.

A 26-year-old Cairnlea man was arrested this morning and has also been charged with murder and intentionally cause serious injury.

Both men will face Melbourne Magistrates' Court later today.

Police also executed five warrants at properties in Cairnlea, Hoppers Crossing, Sunshine West, Weir Views and Robinvale as part of this investigation.

The charges follow an incident on Westwood Drive, Ravenhall on 27 February this year where 33-year-old Ikenasio Tuivasa was fatally shot.

A 24-year-old Endeavour Hills man was also shot and seriously injured during the incident.
