Westgate Divisional Response Unit officers have charged two men after shots were allegedly fired into the bedroom of a home in Werribee last month.
A silver sedan arrived outside a property on Powlett Street about 9.10pm on Friday, 5 September.
It is alleged three male occupants got out of the vehicle and fired multiple shots into the front window of the house before fleeing the scene.
Six occupants were inside the property at the time of the incident and were not physically injured.
Following extensive enquiries, police executed a search warrant at a property in Wyndham Vale on Friday, 26 September.
A 19-year-old Wyndham Vale man was arrested and has since been charged with conduct endangering life, discharge firearm into residential premises, prohibited person possess firearm and discharge firearm in public place.
He was remanded to appear before Melbourne Magistrates' Court on 5 January.

He was remanded to face Melbourne Magistrates' Coury on 6 January.
Police believe one male remains outstanding at this stage and investigations are ongoing.
