Police charge woman over drugs at Ormeau

A 35-year-old woman has been charged after the discovery of a large quantity of methylamphetamine and cash at a residence at Ormeau.

Around 8.30pm on October 17 officers from the Logan District Drug and Firearm Team executed a search warrant at an Ormeau residence where police located 121 grams of methylamphetamine, clip seal bags, scales and $5, 600 in cash.

A 35-year-old woman from Ormeau has been charged with possessing dangerous drugs over schedule 3 (methylamphetamine), possess dangerous drug (cannabis), possess utensil, possess things, possess suspected proceeds and contravene order about device information from digital device.

She is expected to face Beenleigh Magistrates Court on December 13.
