Two women are due in court today charged after they were released from hospital following an alleged stabbing on a Central Coast street earlier this week.
Emergency services were called to Gossimer Close, Killarney Vale, about 2pm last Monday (11 August 2025), where two women – aged 23 and 34 – and a 20-year-old man were found suffering stab wounds.
The women were taken to John Hunter Hospital, while the man was taken to Gosford Hospital. All were placed under police guard.
The man was yesterday (Tuesday 12 August 2025), released and charged with four offences. He was refused bail when he appeared in court yesterday.
Following further inquiries, the man was charged overnight with the additional offence of possess unauthorised prohibited firearm, and is due to appear in Bail Division Court 6 today (Wednesday 13 August 2025).
Both women were released from hospital overnight and were taken to Newcastle Police Station where they have been charged.
The younger woman has been charged with reckless wounding and has been refused bail to appear before
the Bail Division Court 2 later today.
The older woman has been charged with affray, and assault occasioning actual bodily harm (in company). She's also been refused bail to appear in Bail Division Court 6 later today.
All three are believed to be known to each other.
