Police continue their search for missing man Matthew Constable

Police are continuing their search for a Doreen man who lives with a disability and who hasn't been seen since Wednesday.

Matthew Constable, 41, was last seen leaving work in Moonee Ponds on 2 November about 1pm.

Instead of travelling home after work as he routinely does, police believe Matthew travelled by tram into the city. Matthew's Myki card was last used to tap off a tram at Swanston Street / Collins Street at 7.23pm.

Matthew did not return home that evening and police have been unable to establish Matthew's movements and whereabouts after this time.

Police and Matthew's family are growing increasingly concerned about him being missing as it is totally out of character.

Matthew has an intellectual disability and will not pro-actively seek assistance but will respond if spoken too. He may even appear disorientated or lost.

Matthew is described as 175cm tall, of slim build, has brown eyes and short dark curly hair.

Matthew was wearing a red and black shirt with KFC restaurant insignia, black hooded jumper, black pants, and black shoes.

An image of Matthew has been released in the hope someone can provide information on his current whereabouts.

Police are urging people to keep an eye out for Matthew and anyone who sights Matthew is urged to call Triple Zero immediately.
