Police investigate armed robbery at Burswood

Perth Detectives are investigating an armed robbery that occurred about 7am this morning, Friday 5 July 2019 in Burswood.

A white Range Rover pulled up alongside a male on Victoria Park Drive and a man armed with a blunt weapon and knives got out of the vehicle and assaulted the male, stealing his wallet and mobile phone. The man got back into the vehicle and was driven away from the scene by another male.

The offender is described as light skinned, approximately 35 years of age, with a thin build. The driver of the vehicle is described as light skinned, approximately 25 years of age, short dark hair and a beard.

The victim received minor injuries as a result of the assault.

The vehicle is described as a 2016, white Range Rover station sedan, registration 1GDV720. If this vehicle is sighted, please contact police immediately on 131444 as the occupants are believed to be dangerous and should not be approached.
