Police investigate armed robbery at Macgregor 12 April

Police are appealing to the public for information following an armed robbery at Macgregor on Sunday, April 10.

Police were called to the carpark of a sports club on McCullough Street at approximately 8.30pm, to reports a car had been stolen.

Initial investigations indicate a 23-year-old man was in the vehicle, when he was approached by two men, who threatened him and demanded the vehicle.

It is believed one of the men was armed with what appeared to be a gun.

The 23-year-old complied, and the two men left in the black Mitsubishi Lancer.

No one was physically injured.

Police are appealing to anyone with information, or dashcam footage in the area at the time, to come forward.
