Police have charged two men following an armed robbery in Murgon on 13 August.
Just after 11am it is alleged two men armed with a knife and a metal tool entered a produce store on Macalister Street threatening a male employee.
They then allegedly stole a cash register and a charity donation box before leaving the scene in a stolen vehicle.
The vehicle, a 2022 Mazda CX5 was stolen from a Perkins Street address at around 3am the same day, before it was located at a Collins Road address in Cherbourg.
Police located both men at a Bell Street address at around 6.15pm where it is alleged one officer was assaulted while arresting one of the offenders.
The male officer received treatment for injuries to his arm and face.
An 18-year-old Cherbourg man has been charged with one count each of robbery and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear in the Kingaroy Magistrates Court on 7 October.
A 19-year-old has been charged with five offences including robbery, unlawful use of a motor vehicle and assault occasioning bodily.
He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear in the Kingaroy Magistrates Court on 15 August.
A 23-year-old Cherbourg man also alleged to have been involved in the theft of the Mazda has been charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle and stealing.
He is due to appear in the Murgon Magistrates Court on 16 September.
