Logan detectives are investigating the armed robbery of a Park Ridge licensed premises early this morning (October 22).
Initial investigations indicate at approximately 4am, two people have attended the Mount Lindesay Highway tavern armed with a firearm and a bladed weapon.
The pair have damaged a pokie machine, before approaching staff, demanding money and firing a shot into the ceiling.
The persons have left with a quantity of cash, in a grey Mitsubishi Lancer.
No one was physically injured during the incident.
Police appeal to anyone with information, CCTV or dashcam footage in the area at the time to come forward.
