Police investigate armed robbery at Parkwood

Police are investigating the armed robbery of a Parkwood convenience store this morning.

Preliminary information indicates that shortly after 8.30am, two masked people - believed to be a man and woman – attended the Zoeller Drive business, produced a sharp implement and demanded cash.

The attendant complied and the pair fled with a sum of money to a waiting white 2012 Toyota Camry sedan, bearing Queensland registration plates "564 SRQ".

A woman was driving the vehicle and the three people were last seen exiting a nearby car park.

No one was injured during the incident.

The Toyota Camry had been stolen from an address at Queens Road, Kingston, sometime between 8.00pm on Tuesday January 14 and 6.30am (today) Wednesday January 15.

Investigations continue.
