As stated by Detective Mark Reid:
Manawatū Police investigating multiple suspicious shed fires in Dannevirke this month are appealing to the public for information.
The shed fires occurred at a property on the corner of Smith Road and Glengarry Road. The first was on Friday 17 July, and the second was on Saturday 25 July - both were around 8pm.
Thankfully, no one was injured in these fires, however the occupants of the property are understandably very shaken by the incidents.
Police worked alongside Fire and Emergency New Zealand and determined that these shed fires are of a suspicious nature.
Enquiries remain ongoing and Police are now asking for the public's assistance.
