Police investigate hit-run in St Albans

Brimbank Highway Patrol are investigating a hit-run in St Albans on 28 July.

It is believed a 38-year-old Werribee driver was travelling along the Western Ring Road when he was struck by another vehicle, about 12.55pm.

The impact forced the man's car into a concrete barrier, trapping him inside the vehicle.

Emergency crews quickly freed the man and he was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

The driver of what is believed to be a black Hyundai i30 fled the scene.
