Police investigate Moliagul ramming incident

Goldfields police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was involved in a ramming incident in Moliagul on Saturday, Victoria Police say.

Police have been told the victim, a 54-year-old White Hills woman, was driving her vehicle west on the Wimmera Highway at about 10.20am.

Between Murphy's Creek and Moliagul she has passed a dark blue sedan parked on the side of the road also facing west.

This vehicle then proceeded to follow the victim for about 5kms before ramming the victim’s vehicle from behind.

The victim started to pull over and has again been rammed twice from behind causing her to lose control of her vehicle swerving across the road into a shallow culvert and rolling.

The offender then drove off.

The victim sustained minor injuries and required hospital treatment.

At this stage, Police believe this incident was unprovoked.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
