Police investigate robbery at Smithfield chemist, South Australia

Police are investigating an aggravated robbery at a Smithfield chemist.

About 6.45pm on Wednesday 25 September, a man armed with a firearm entered a chemist on Main North Road, threatened staff and demanded cash.

The suspect ran off with cash and was last seen heading east across Main North Road.

Thankfully, no one was physically injured during the incident.

The man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 175cm tall with a slim to medium build. He was wearing a black hooded jumper and grey track pants.

Police patrols are currently searching the area with the assistance of Dog Operations Unit.
