Brimbank Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Team detectives are investigating a series of sexual assaults which occurred at a Keilor Downs shopping centre earlier this month, Victoria Police say.
Investigators have been told the victims were approached by a man at the Taylors Road shopping centre on 12 December just before 1pm.
The man approached several women, walking up behind, then waiting until they were distracted before committing an indecent act.
One of the victims, who realised what the man was doing, yelled at him, causing him to walk away through the food centre and out of the centre.
Police have released images and cctv footage of a man that they believe may be able to assist with their enquires.
