Police are investigating an incident in Elizabeth Town overnight, after a man was assaulted in his residence.
Three people reportedly entered the property about 3:20am, before striking the man and stealing some items of property.
They left a short time later and the man received medical treatment at the scene before being taken to hospital.
Police would like to hear from anyone who was in the vicinity of Elizabeth Town or on the Bass Highway around this time and saw anything suspicous, or has dash camera or other relevant footage.
