Police investigating robbery at Bolivar Hotel

Police are investigating a robbery at a Bolivar licenced premises early this morning.

Just before 4.50am, Thursday 16 November a masked man entered the premises on Port Wakefield Road and smashed the glass window of a cashier's counter.

The suspect was armed with an axe and demanded cash from staff before exiting the premises.

He was last seen and running north on Port Wakefield Road with a small amount of cash.

The suspect is described as 173cm, average build, wearing a light-coloured hoody, gloves and wearing a white mask.

Police searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect.
