Police investigating robbery at Currambine

Joondalup Detectives are investigating a robbery that occurred in Currambine on Tuesday 7 September 2021.

Around 10.20pm the victim, a man in his 40s, was driving a 2020 blue SsangYong Rexton Station Sedan on Connolly Drive. Just near Shenton Avenue a white ‘old style’ utility has pulled in front of the victim’s vehicle, causing him to have to pull over.

Two men got out of the utility and one has struck the passenger’s side of the victim’s vehicle several times with an unknown object, while the second man went to the driver’s side and began to yell at the driver.

The first man has opened the passenger door and stolen property from the seat of the vehicle. The two men went back to their utility and followed the victim’s car for a distance before they left the area.

Anyone with dash-cam footage of the area at the time of this incident or anyone who may have witnessed the incident is urged to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au
