Police investigating robbery at Moorooka

Police are appealing for public assistance to identify three men who robbed a food delivery driver and stole his vehicle at Moorooka last night (March 6).

Just before 10pm the driver was making a delivery to an address in Goodwin Terrace when he was approached by three men who initially asked for money.

Police will allege when the driver refused, he was assaulted before the men entered his car and drove from the scene towards Weir Street.

He suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported by police to the QE2 Hospital.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen the man's red Toyota sedan in the area at the time, or who may have CCTV footage, to contact them.

Investigations are ongoing.
